The 1920s was the top of an era in which pharmaceuticals as we know them today completely changed.

At the time natural/herbal medicines were still very popular in America with almost half the doctors and medical colleges in the US still practicing holistic medicine utilizing compounding knowledge from Ancient Europe to Indigenous African Herbalism to Native Americans and beyond. So what changed? At the turn of the 20th century, a man by the name of Rockefeller utilized the discovery of petrochemicals to monopolize the oil, chemical, and medical industries simultaneously. In an effort to squash any form of competition, He devised a scheme with the help of Carnegie, a steel monopolist, to hire individuals to report all colleges teaching or practicing holistic methods. He had them shut down, demonized, mocked or even jailed any doctors or educators who did not comply. While donating enormous amounts of money and founding the “General Education Board”. With that, the minds of the majority shifted to a different idea of medicine. In a rather short time, the entire medical industry was streamlined and homogenized. Every student was given the exact same learning method and the medicine was all about using patented drugs only. They took what they knew about natural medicine and synthesized it to a chemical compound that could not easily be duplicated even if it came with some serious side effects that the plant derivative did not.

A pill for the ill became the new mantra for modern medicine. The side effects that came with the synthesization of medicine were only masked by more petroleum medications and no longer addressing the root cause of a person's illness. Well here we are, 100 years later. We have Practicing physicians who know nothing about the root causes of the disease they are treating or have never been educated on the benefits without side effects of using what was already placed on this earth without any synthesized chemical involvement. America spends 15% of its GDP on healthcare which should really be called sick care.. it is not focused on a cure but rather on covering up the symptoms that are creating repeat customers.

There’s no cure for cancer, diabetes, arthritis, insomnia, autism, asthma or even the flu. Or is there?

We cannot base all of our health decisions in a system that was founded by plutocrats and monopolists who’s sole ambition was not to help people.. it was to make money. Think there isn’t a cure for cancer? Would it concern you to know that the American cancer society was founded by none other than Rockefeller in 1913 after a spike in cancer cases following his indoctrination of medical professionals to utilize petrochemical derived medications?

After 100 years, I’d we are long overdue for a course correction it’s time to take back our health!
